DESCRIPTION: When fresh-faced college graduate Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) gets a job as an assistant in The Devil Wears Prada, she’s at the mercy of her tyrannical boss Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the editor-in-chief of a high fashion magazine in New York City. While Madame Priestly abuses her underlings and frowns upon common peasants, Andy ditches her frumpy knit sweaters for Gucci pants and Jimmy Choo pumps. It might be rags to riches for Andy but first she has to contend with hell on heels. In the classic rags to riches story, college grad Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) gets a lesson in fashion and work ethic when she jet sets to Paris for a fashion show. In a series of establishing nighttime shots, the Arc de Triomphe makes an appearance in the comedy The Devil Wears Prada. One of the most famous monuments in the city, it stands in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, the western end of the Champs-Elysees.
