DESCRIPTION: Don’t be fooled by Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) everyman wardrobe. He’s Captain America, a superhero who once slept for 70 years. In this second installment, Captain America meets the ruthless, seemingly undefeatable Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). As he scrambles for a way to stop the Winter Soldier with the help of friends like the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie), he finds himself questioning S.H.I.E.L.D.’s ideologies and its preventive approach to countering the bad guys. Talk about a bad time for a crisis of confidence. The Lincoln Memorial was built to memorialize the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Located in the National Mall in Washington, D.C., it sits across from the Washington Monument. Scroll down to see more film locations identifed from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
