DESCRIPTION: Black Crocs, a paper bag mask, and some questionable printed shirts—you’ve never seen a fugitive like this. After Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) robs a fast food restaurant for pies and cash, she flees town with her sassy grandmother Pearl (Susan Sarandon). Her attempts to flee from justice are about as ill advised as her dressed-down wardrobe, which include faded t-shirts, touristy Hawaiian prints, and a denim jacket with no sleeves. Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) and grandmother Pearl (Susan Sarandon) are the odd couple in Tammy as they tear through the northeast on the run from the law. Burgaw is a small town in North Carolina that attracts families and married couples. It's famous for two annual festivals, the Spring Fest which dates to 1978 and the Blueberry Festival which draws almost 10 times its population.
